Armitage
Leisure was formed in 1989 and began trading in January 1990 when
Ian, Maxine and Craig acquired the assets of Ian's former employer
who had recently retired.
Operating only ancillary machines at that time to clubs and free houses the
business grew rapidly throughout the 1990's. We readily accepted
the invitation to become an approved supplier for Enterprise Inns
in 1999 and we are now a well established operator to many breweries/
pubcos and local entrepreneurs in the North of England.
The
company operates predominantly around the West Yorkshire area but
is now covering the M62 corridor and M6 servicing a customer base
of non-tied public houses as well as being a nominated supplier
to Enterprise Inns, Admiral Taverns, (RBNB) Oakwell Brewery and
the Samuel Smith Old Brewery. We supply to many of West Yorkshire’s
Sports & Social Clubs and have good working relationships with
Punch Taverns and Marston’s Pub Company. |

"Having
enjoyed more than 30 years experience in this industry, I have learnt
that you must listen and develop to the needs of your customers.
In an industry that never sleeps, service is paramount and is always
prioritised at ALS. Where my competitors can offer the same range
of equipment as I, they do not have the same reputation for service,
which puts us head and shoulders above the rest "
